In the charming and verdant district of Templestowe, in Melbourne, Australia, there is a bold and elegant private house, with an authentically contemporary touch, characterised by large windows from which natural light bursts in. Sturdy pillars, straight lines and cubic volumes characterise the entire space overlooking the surrounding nature. The feeling of comfort linked to the use of the latest hi-tech solutions is palpable.

PRODUCT USED

The outdoor area of the villa has been clearly designed to be exploited to the fullest making it possible to fully enjoy the dehors. For the poolside area, Mos Architects studio, which designed the villa, opted for the performance and refined aesthetics of the stone-look Blend Stone collection by Cotto d’Este, used here in the Light color and Natural finish. It is an extremely accurate series that goes beyond the idea of verisimilitude with stone to generate a new material in which the typical grain of limestone, the haloing of the piasentina stone and dark segments combined with more delicate veins interact. Additionally, the increased thickness (14 mm) gives these ceramic surfaces an impeccable resistance to atmospheric agents as well as wear-resistance over time that guarantees an excellent aesthetic result.
