Strategically located at the crossroads of two major highways connecting key Southeastern European countries, the Prishtina Mall is the largest shopping centre in Kosovo.
Just 10 kilometres from the capital, the mall is more than just a shopping destination – it is a vibrant hub for entertainment and socialising. Featuring flagship stores of renowned international brands, a movie theatre, a play area, and an extensive food court with numerous restaurants, as well as 3,500 parking spaces for visitors, the Prishtina Mall serves as a real hub for the entire Balkan region.
Materials of the highest quality, durability, and versatility were required for the shopping centre’s construction. Therefore the designers put their trust in Cotto d’Este’s outstanding expertise and ability to meet the diverse needs of such a vast and significant commercial space.
For both the interior and exterior flooring of the Prishtina Mall, the designers selected the exceptional technical performance and exclusive aesthetic of the Blend Stone collection, in a unique thickness of 14 mm and in formats measuring 30x60 cm and 60x120 cm, for a total surface area of approximately 52,000 square metres. Blend Stone, is a stone-look porcelain stoneware flooring and cladding collection which, by blending strikingly beautiful mineral textures throughout the thickness of the ceramic, goes beyond mere realism to create an entirely new material. Its colour palette – made up of four shades inspired by four different natural stones – proved perfect for the Prishtina Mall, where the veining and inclusions of colour integrated perfectly with the architecture of the spaces, giving the shopping centre a sense of visual continuity that combines style and functionality.
The collection, fruit of advanced aesthetic study and impeccable technical design, is also part of the PROTECT® line, an exclusive range of extremely high performance, antibacterial, porcelain stoneware flooring and cladding products featuring an incorporated silver ion shield that eliminates up to 99.9% of surface bacteria.
