Golden Rays is a luxury resort complex consisting of seven villas and two buildings with three apartments each. It is located in one of the best-known sites on the Dalmatian coast – a bay in front of the historic village of Primosten, beside the sea and with a private beach. The main objective of the modernist project (for which the architecture of the post-war period along the shore of Primosten provided the first inspiration) was to offer continuous and direct contact with the panorama and the surrounding nature. Several methods were used, including the interpenetration between the different uses of the external and internal spaces, large glass surfaces, and, last but not least, the materials used for construction and coating purposes.
