The architects’ choice of Cotto d’Este celebrates the relationship between nature and architecture, evoking the colours and the strength of rock and the soaring peaks of mountain landscapes. One of the protagonists of the store on Corso Europa is the Pura collection, whose ceramic solutions cover over 300 square metres, seamlessly blending aesthetics and functionality.
The 14 MM version, in the 60x120 cm format and in the colours Grey and Pearl, was chosen for the floor, recalling the elegant and natural shades of stone and giving the space a unique personality. The store’s most striking sculptural elements, like the evocative prismatic peak, were created using over-sized Kerlite 6plus slabs in the 6.5-mm-thick, 120x278 cm format, also from the Pura collection.
A cutting-edge architectural material, Kerlite is known for being exceptionally lightweight (with a thickness of just 3.5, 5.5, or 6.5 mm) and extraordinarily durable. In fact, thanks to their fibreglass reinforcement, Cotto d’Este’s ultra-thin over-sized slabs guarantee not only durability, but also unmatched flexibility, making them ideal for cladding surfaces, furniture, and sculptural structures.
Kerlite’s characteristics open the door to new design possibilites, combining functionality and aesthetics, as well as sustainability, thanks to a product lifecycle whose CO2 emissions are completely offset. This fusion of cutting-edge design, technical performance, and environmental awareness makes Cotto d’Este the perfect choice for spaces that celebrate the harmony between nature and architecture.
