EDIFICIO C, located in Aversa in the province of Caserta, Campania, was created thanks to the design flair of the Architects Paolo de Michele, Gaspare Oliva and Nicola Pietrantonio. Faced with the existence of an unmodifiable reinforced concrete structure, the project focused on the creation of vertical partitions, consisting of internal and external walls. The interior and exterior are engaged in a constant dialogue, also with the surrounding environment, which appears to be in total harmony with the structure.
The project development skills of the architects, the construction as a whole and the use of Cotto d'Este material earned the project a special mention at the Eighth edition of La Ceramica e il Progetto.
La Ceramica e il Progetto is an architecture competition that awards the best architectural works made with Italian ceramic tiles in Italy or abroad and completed between January 2016 and January 2019.
