From January 19th to 23rd, Cotto d’Este was present at Maison&Objet in Paris with a dedicated space in the “Ceramics of Italy” exhibition area (PAV. 5B - Booths A27-B28).
For this trade fair - that caters to lifestyle, decorating, and design - the brand focused on its new Cement Project collection, which was first presented during the last edition of the Cersaie.
Cement Project is a system of surfaces and colours that, in both a visual and tactile manner, accurately replicates the effects of cement, including that of traditional wooden slatted forms. The collection conceptually refers to the exceptional brutalist style of architecture from the twentieth century, with its rigor and strong expressive energy, however, still capable of offering a great variety of interpretations in use.
The project plays on the combination of three shades, light gray (Color-10), intermediate gray (Color-20), and dark gray (Color-30), on three different surfaces: Work, Cem and Land, each available in various thicknesses and sizes.
